Diagnosis!!!

Well.. Finally after 4 doctors we have a diagnosis for Lucas Eye problem, is called Blepharitis, basically is an inflammation along the edge of the eyelid where the eyelashes come out. It is due to build up of the normal oily secretions of the eyelid. In his case his eyes react forming chalazions that last for months! The good news are that we have a treatment that it will last his whole life but it will prevent the development of new chalazions.I'm happy because I feel really bad for him, it hurts and it looks bad so people is always asking him what is wrong with his eyes.Now lets cross our fingers and hope for the best!below are some pictures of our visit to the office of Dr Del Canto.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Finalmente diagnosticaron a lucas por el problema de sus ojos tiene Bleparitis, que es una inflamacion en los parpados donde salen las pestanas. Las secreciones se acumulan en esos puntos y sus ojos reaccionan formando orzuelos que le duran por meses. Las buenas noticias es que le dieron un tratamiento a seguir por toda su vida ya que el es muy suceptible en esta area. Yo estoy contenta ya que si todo sale bien sus ojos ya no se van a ver tan mal. crucemos los dedos y esperemos lo mejorabajo puse unas fotos de la visita al Doctor.
