Soccer

Again , we found ourselves in the best season of all....Spring Soccer. As Usual Bryce is busy coaching Jordan and Lucas Teams, and myself at the sidelines screaming like a maniac! ( is not a joke). Our kids love the sport and I'm so proud that at least that part of my Latin genes I passed on ! This year Lucas decided to join his brothers in the pass time... the bad part... we spent everyday at games except on Fridays.... I little too much?.. you can decided! (Photos included below)

Mucho?.. Uds decidan!

Twilight

Oh My Gosh! I'm getting so excited about the movie!

In the beginning I was not too thrill about the actors that are going to play the characters of the book... because like Stephenie Meyer said: "Everyone has their own mental picture of how Edward or Bella look". But after seeing some scenes of the trailer I was SOLD!! The chemistry of the two actors is amazing ( Photo included. Also included in my play list is their love song "Clair de Lune" is the one that you are listening right now ).

Now I'm starting to read Twilight for the third time.. and still so good! I can't wait for the release of " Braking Dawn" on the Second of August. Finally I will know what happens with this love story!

Who knew that a Vampire love story will be this successful!

Brave girl....

Last night Kelly and I went to visit
our friend Lacie at the Hospital.

Yesterday
Lacie went through a very painful surgery.
She is so brave! When you see her on Sundays at church, she never shows up looking sick or with her spirits low. She is always smiling like nothing is wrong in her life... I soooo admire that attitude! I do not know if I, being in the same situation, will be strong enough to face life like she does. Most of her friends know that sometimes she does not have the energy to get up in the morning.. but Lacie does! She gets up and gets her kids ready for school.
Well last night even though the circumstances were not perfect we were able to talk and laugh for almost 2 hours! Is funny how she can laugh of her situation and made Kelly and I forget about the sadness.
We love you Lacie and hope you get well very soon.

Scrapbook USA

This Saturday my friend Carol and I went to the Scrapbook USA show! It was really fun (only if you like scrapbooking
of course!) This is my second time there and I just love to go around and get new ideas, beautiful papers and accessories. I have to say that, in this show you see very " interesting" people!! haha!! What I mean is ... that I like scrapbooking as a hobby but some of these ladies are out of their minds and way into it! We are talking of hundreds of crazy women going around pushing just to get the best deals and a few husbands seating on the sidelines just trying not to call attention upon themselves! It is hilarious!

Carol and I were there for 3 hours and got to see and buy what we wanted but some ladies spend the whole day in tables set in the middle just scrapbooking like maniacs!
Overall it was fun and relaxing to be there and away from the house and kids...
Lorena

Husband for Sale.

My Mother in law sent me this email. I thought it was funny so I decided to share it with you.

A store that sells new husbands opened in New York City, where a woman may go to choose a husband.
Among the instructions at the entrance is a description of how the store Operates:
You may visit this store ONLY ONCE! There are six floors and the value of the products increase as the shopper ascends the flights. The shopper may choose any item from a particular floor, or may choose to go up to the next floor, but you cannot go back down except to exit the building!
So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband. On the first floor the sign on the door reads:
Floor 1 - These men Have Jobs.
She is intrigued, but continues to the second floor, where the sign reads:
Floor 2 - These men Have Jobs and Love Kids.
'That's nice,' she thinks, 'but I want more.'
So she continues upward. The third floor sign reads:
Floor 3 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, and are Extremely Good Looking.
'Wow,' she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going.
She goes to the fourth floor and the sign reads:
Floor 4 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Good Looking and Help With Housework.
'Oh, mercy me!' she exclaims, 'I can hardly stand it!'
Still, she goes to the fifth floor and the sign reads:
Floor 5 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Gorgeous, Help with Housework, and Have a Strong Romantic Streak.
She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the sixth floor, where the sign reads:
Floor 6 - You are visitor 31,456,012 to this floor. There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible to please. Thank you for shopping at the Husband Store.
PLEASE NOTE:
To avoid gender bias charges, the store's owner opened a New Wives store just across the street. The first floor has wives that love sex.
The second floor has wives that love sex, have money and like beer.
The third, fourth, fifth and sixth floors have never been visited.

ST. George

We had such a good time in ST. George! We went in a really cool hike that grandma discovered in the Red Cliffs Recreation Area. I do not like to hike but this one was phenomenal! a beautiful stream run all the way down and you can only see it in Spring. It forms waterfalls and pools of water. Bryce missed a step trying to climb on a rock and fell in to one! The water was freezing!.
The kids enjoy shooting with grandpa. He set some targets in the garage! Grandma was not to happy about it!haha.
For me this little vacation was very relaxing, I spent most of my time reading this really good book call " The Pillars of the Earth", swimming and sleeping!
It was kind of hard to come back to such a cold weather and SNOW!! after swimming outside.
Below I posted some pictures of our trip. Enjoy!
